- Wat Phra Si Sanphet: The most important temple during the Ayutthaya Kingdom, known for its three large stupas and magnificent architecture. It once served as the royal chapel within the Grand Palace.
- Wat Mahathat: Famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots, this temple is one of the most photographed sites in Ayutthaya. It’s a striking symbol of nature reclaiming the ruins.
- Wat Lokaya Sutha: This ancient temple features a massive reclining Buddha statue, measuring over 37 metres long. It’s a serene spot that offers a sense of tranquillity amidst the historic ruins.
- Wat Yai Chaimongkhon: Known for its towering chedi and rows of Buddha statues, this temple was built to commemorate a great victory over Burmese invaders and remains one of the best-preserved temples in Ayutthaya.

ITINERARY
- 08.00 AM: Pickup time (Khaosan Road).
- 08.30 AM: Go to Ayutthaya (Ancient City).
- 09.30 AM: Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong. This temple is located outside the city of Ayutthaya.
- 10.30 AM: Arrive at Ayutthaya, visit the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Samphet. Visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit.
- 12.00 PM: Thai Lunch.
- 13.00 PM: Visit Wat Lokaya Sutha. This temple is adjacent to Wat Wora-Chettharam in the west of the city. It houses a large reclining Buddha image, made of brick and covered with plaster.
- 13.30 PM: Visit “Wat Phra Mahathat.” This temple is located in front of the grand palace. The construction began during the reign of King Borom Rachathirat I in 1374 A.D.And
- 14.00 PM: Visit Wat Yai Chaimongkhon.
- 14.30 PM: Return to Bangkok.
